Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May are back with more cars, more celebrities and more mayhem, premiered December 8th, 2017

HOLLYWOOD, CA (Hollywood Daily Star) 2017/12/9 – “Oh, I’m quite nervous,” says The Grand Tour star Richard Hammond before taking off in the car. “I’m suddenly nervous.”

In this episode Hammond drives his car over a cliff. He does  manage to escape before the car explodes. Of course they have to show the full extent of the accident. He crashes a £2million supercar at 120mph in Switzerland.  Hammond fractures his knee in the crash and has to have an operation.

There were 13 episodes in the first season of The Grand Tour. In Season 2,  Jeremy Clarkson, Hammond and James May return. They have adventures, talk about cars and mainly make fun of themselves. Then they land in the hospital.

There’s a new segment called Celebrity Face Off, where two stars, connected in an unusual way, are pitted against each other to see who is the fastest around the track. The first race features David Hasselhoff and Kaiser Chiefs singer Ricky Wilson. Other celebrities are Michael Ball, Alfie Boe, Hugh Bonneville, Dominic Cooper, Luke Evans, Kiefer Sutherland, Kevin Pietersen, Dynamo and Rory McIlroy.

Thankfully, the boys are not traveling around setting up the show in a tent this season. That was becoming a tiresome bit. This season they have a permanent studio in the Cotswolds. They go on a grand tour to 14 other countries, starting in Switzerland.
