HOLLYWOOD, CA (Hollywood Daily Star) 2017/2/7 – “I guess what I would say to someone who’s been hurt, and what I would hope that people can take away from this show, everyone on this show gets hurt,” says Imposters star Inbar Lavi. “Everyone is deceived. Everyone is a little bit conniving. I hope that people can take some kind of message that, that’s okay. It happens. Clean yourself off. Get back out there. There’s always hope. You might still find someone who won’t hurt you. You might.”
In Imposters, Inbar Lavi is Maddie, a persona-shifting con-artist as beautiful as she is dangerous. She leaves her unwitting victims tormented when they realize they have been used and robbed of everything, including their hearts. Until one day her victims team up to track her down.
Rob Heaps is Ezra, Maddie’s husband until one day his sweet wife disappears with all their money and enough sensitive information to destroy him if he turns to the authorities for help. Parker Young is Richard. He shows up at Ezra’s door in search of his perfect wife Alice. They realize they’ve been fooled by the same woman. They join forces in the hope of finding her to seek revenge.
Uma Thurman is Lenny Cohen, the ultimate fixer. Mysterious, articulate and lethal, she is the one to call when the reclusive ring-leader of a group of con artists needs to keep his employees in line or eliminate an enemy.
Maddie’s dejected past lovers manage to take control of their new realities. In their quest to confront her, they’ll have to face their own faults to find new versions of themselves along the way.
