Hollywood stars check out the bling, give gifts to foster kids charity Wednesday’s Child

In the spirit of giving back, FoxLA Wednesday’s Child was present collecting monetary donations and unwrapped gifts for teens in foster care. Wednesday’s Child is a weekly segment airing on KTTV FOX 11 News, Los Angeles, with anchor Christine Devine.
“Wednesday’s Child highlights harder to place children in the LA County foster care system who are in need of adoptive families,” says social worker, Dr. William Wong. “In Los Angeles County, there are over 35,000 children receiving child welfare services. Wednesday’s Child is a adoption recruitment program that focuses on finding forever families for children in foster care.”

He taps one on a puck. “That’s a hockey puck,” says Ide. “I’ve found it gives the purest tone.” As I relax Ide’s partner gives me a head and neck massage as Ide taps tuning forks of different frequencies and wands them near or touches me with them. The frequencies of some of the forks are so low they make no sound, but that they are vibrating can be felt.
