Luxury hotel embraces green with Eco-Impact ranking, Hollywood celebrates release of Arctic photography art book at Global Green USA benefit on October 29th

HOLLYWOOD, CA (Hollywood Daily Star) – 2015/10/27 – Photographer and environmental activist Sebastian Copeland’s new book Arctica: The Vanishing North is a visual tribute to one of the most beautiful and isolated places on Earth. Activists, Hollywood stars, artists and citizens are coming to book release party and benefit on October 29th at the Four Seasons Los Angeles at Beverly Hills.
Future weather is in the news this week with a report by Nature Climate Change that temperatures in major cities in Saudi Arabia and Iran will rise to lethal extremes by the end of the century if global warming continues. Future weather is also a big concern for the Arctic. Weather in the Arctic not only effects the North Pole. Arctic weather pattern changes have resulted in a decades long drought in California. Global Green USA and Four Seasons Hotel Los Angeles at Beverly Hills will announce their new partnership as Global Green’s first recognized Eco-Impact hotel in Los Angeles. In its 20-year history, Global Green USA has influenced more than $20 billion dollars worth of building construction by encouraging the integration of green building and sustainability. They create model projects and advance policies to build sustainable communities and affordable housing. They embrace climate-friendly solutions through five annual events including the Green Pre-Oscar Party.
