HOLLYWOOD, CA (Hollywood Daily Star) 2017/4/8 – “I think everyone can relate to,” says Moonlight in Vermont star Lacey Chabert. “Everyone’s, for the most part been in that position of being broken up with and trying to sort of put your life back together and pick up the pieces where you left off.”
“I love romantic comedy,” says Chabert. “ I would watch them all day long. I think they’re relatable. Most people in this life are trying to find love and trying to find someone to live life and do life with. I think, especially, if you can laugh at yourself and everyone is made this kind of mistakes or finding themselves in funny scenarios. I love to watch a movie and relate to it.”
In Moonlight in Vermont, Lacey Chabert is real estate broker Fiona Rangely. A busy career-woman, she is offered a prominent job to join a real estate business.
Jesse Moss is Nate, Fiona’s boyfriend. He is tired of her never having time for him. He dumps her. Crushed, Fiona plans a week-long escape to her family’s quaint Vermont Inn.
Carlo Marks is Derek, the Inn’s star new head chef. Fiona and he get off on the wrong foot. When Nate arrives as a guest at the Inn with a girlfriend, Fiona wants to win him back. Derek agrees to help make Nate jealous by posing as her new boyfriend.
