HOLLYWOOD, CA (Hollywood Daily Star) 2017/3/26  – “I love to bake,” says Murder, She Baked: Just Desserts star Alison Sweeney. “I bake with my kids all the time. I love to experiment and try new things. When my son was really young he was always in the kitchen with me. He wanted to bake on his own. He called them ‘discover-ments’. He would just take all sorts of ingredients and make his own concoctions, which was amazing.”

In Murder, She Baked: Just Desserts, Alison Sweeney is Hannah Swensen a local celebrity baker and owner of The Cookie Jart. She launches Eden Lake’s first-ever televised “Red Hawk Flour Bake-off” bake off.

Kurt Evans is Leonard Bishop, the town High School coach and one of Hannah’s judges. He gets killed in the middle of the semi-finals.

Cameron Mathison is Mike Kingston, the detective investigating these crimes. He is also dating Hannah. The attraction between them grows. It isn’t long before she begins her own unofficial investigation as Mike pursues the killer.

Barbara Niven is Delores, Hannah’s mother. She helps Hannah with her unorthodox investigation methods, including impersonating a vindictive wife, dumpster diving, and swiping tainted medication.

Hannah realizes who murdered Coach Bishop moments before she goes on camera at the live bake-off finals. The killer is right there in the crowd gathered for the bake-off.
