HOLLYWOOD, CA (Hollywood Daily Star) 2016/11/21 – “He’s an army ranger highly elite special forces unit going in under cover without much support and their on their own” says Operation Christmas Mark Blucas is Sergeant Scott McGuigan. Blucas. “Here’s hoping this is an eye-opener, where the general public can see something new and have an appreciation for not just the trials and tribulations of war it’s a lifestyle they signed up for that effects the lives of kids and everybody involved.”
“Operation Christmas is essentially a love story about two people finding love again,”says star Tricia Helfer. “You never know anything about where they’re going or why. She can’t quite understand putting himself in danger. Yes, you’re protecting people. at the same time you’re running away on your family in one respect. It takes her a long time to figure out.”
“I think Hallmark’s audiences will get drawn into the story, and I think there is a lot of realism that people can relate to,” says Helfer. “Shooting in Whistler was amazing, going up in a helicopter up to seven thousand or eight thousand feet they just dropped us off on this glacier.”
