HBO Animals, creator Mike Luciano says, “We’ve had a lot of music people”

HOLLYWOOD, CA (Hollywood Daily Star) 2017/4/7 – “We just really want to try to find people to come do voices that we like and are inspired by and maybe wouldn’t be doing an animated show or any other show,” says Animals creator Mike Luciano.“We’ve had some really fun parings of people. We’ve had a lot of music people….we really lean into the second season.”

With New York City quarantined, Mike Luciano is squirrel Mike, he prepares for his mother’s remarriage. He tries to impress a female guest.

Phil Matarese is squirrel Phil, Mike’s brother. He plots to stop the wedding, squaring off with his soon-to-be brother, the attention-hog Mason.

As rival alley-cat crews face off for control of the streets of Little Italy, a young feline, Phil, rises to the top of the pack. A trio of owls gathers for Christmas celebrations.
