HBO Silicon Valley, star Matt Ross says, “Not an easy task”

HOLLYWOOD, CA (Hollywood Daily Star) 2017/4/23 – “I have absolute confidence in Mike Judge and Alec Berg and the other writers, creators of that show,” says Silicon Valley star Matt Ross. “They come up with fantastic brilliant satire. I think is one of the funniest shows on television if not the funniest. They make math captivating and funny, which is not an easy task.”


In Silicon Valley, Thomas Middleditch is Richard Hendricks, he is having a hard time letting go of his dream to put his algorithm to better use, since the Pied Piper guys pursue their video-chat app, PiperChat.

Kumail Nanjiani  is Dinesh Chugtai, he is the programmer specialized in Java, he is materialistic and flirts with notoriety even though he is unsuccessful with women.

Martin Starr is Bertram Gilfoyle, a network engineer and Canadian illegal immigrant, until he successfully applies for a visa after Dinesh forces him to. He looks with amusement Dinesh’s attempts to pick up women.

T.J. Miller is Erlich Bachman, an entrepreneur who founded an innovation incubator in his home after the purchase of his airfare collator Aviato. He is searching for his next big break.

Zach Woods is Donald “Jared” Dunn, he is the ex-VP of Hooli who quits the company in order to join the Pied Piper team as its CFO and business advisor. He attempts to pivot with the company.

Josh Brener is Nelson “Big Head” Bighetti, a former tenant of Erlich’s incubator and Richard’s best friend who also works at Hooli. This season he enters the world of academia.

Always trying to boicot them, Matt Ross is Gavin Belson, the chief innovation officer and founder of Hooli. He embodies the Silicon Valley corporate culture. He finds himself threatened

Amanda Crew is Monica Hall, she is the asistant of Raviga Capital’s heads. She struggles to bounce back at Raviga after her fallout with current company’s president.

In Silicon Valley, the Pied Piper team tries to leave their mark. They continue to fumble along the road to success.

After Pied Piper’s clickfarm scandal, the guys struggle to find funding for Pied Piper’s video-chat app to keep up with their rapidly growing user base. Big Head’s dad puts resistance to Erlich for his son’s money.

Stephen Tobolowsky is Jack Barker, he steps on Gavin’s toes at Hooli. Richard is having a hard time adjusting to his company’s pivot. He gets an advice that leads him to an idea that could change his future.

Terms of Service

Dinesh’s new position goes to his head. Richard has to step in. He also discovers useful data about PiperChat’s users. Erlich makes a play to be involved in new app. Jared sets ground rules in his friendship with Richard. Gavin’s paranoia over Jack’s enthusiasm causes him to make a rash decision.

Intellectual Property

Richard is overtired. He pushes himself to the brink of sanity while trying to move ahead with his next idea. Monica sets a trap at Raviga to improve her standing with her former boss. Dinesh goes on a date. Big Head enters the world of academia. Gavin faces an unknown future.

The series takes a comic look at the modern-day epicenter of the high-tech gold rush, where the people most qualified to succeed are the least capable of handling success.
