Four-part British series about comedian Paul Finchley, who gets accused of sexual abuse, premieres on March 1st, 2017

In a deal with All3Media International, Hulu has acquired the U.S. rights to all episodes of National Treasure, a drama produced by The Forge Entertainment for Channel 4. National Treasure is a four-part British series about nationwide-famous comedian Paul Finchley, who gets accused of sexual abuse.
In National Treasure, BAFTA-winner Robbie Coltrane is Paul Finchley, a real-life national treasure and half of a popular, long-running comedy act. The famous comedian’s world turns upside-down when he’s accused of sexual abuse. The accusation tears the comedian’s life apart. His comedy partner is drawn into the drama, adding pressure to their relationship. Stars BAFTA-winner Julie Walters, Andrea Riseborough and Tim McInnerny.
National Treasure’s success to date includes screenings at Film Festival Cologne, FIPA, International Film Festival Rotterdam, and Roma Fiction Festival, where it won two awards: Best Actor and the Special Jury Award. National Treasure also received two award nominations at C21 Drama Awards for Best Female and Best Male Performance in a Drama Series. National Treasure’s first season will debut in the U.S. as a Hulu Original on March 1, 2017.
