Pop princess best to worst moments, premieres on Lifetime February 18th, 2017, at 8 pm ET, 5pm PT on DirecTV

HOLLYWOOD, CA (Hollywood Daily Star) 2017/02/18 – “I remember actually practicing her songs in the mirror with a fake microphone,” says Britney Ever After star Natasha Bassett. “I never would have thought I will be playing her a few years later. I have never danced or sung in my life.”
In Britney Ever After Natasha Bassett is pop icon Britney Spears. She embodies the princess during her rise to fame, fall from grace and then triumphant resurrection that firmly secured her position as one of the world’s greatest entertainers.
Nathan Keyes is also pop star Justin Timberlake, one of the most famous stars to ever date the pop icon during the ‘90s. The two-hour movie will follow Spears’ early career as a young girl from Louisiana focusing on her relationship and breakup with Timberlake.
It also features her personal struggles following her parents’ divorce, and her marriages to Jason Alexander, Kevin Federline, her broken engagement with Jason Trawick, and the downfall that saw her lose custody of her sons before she rebuilt her career and proved herself to be a force in entertainment.
“Wild Britney is pretty fun,” says Bassett. “Like when she is with K-Fed. It was really fun doing the wedding in Vegas because it was crazy.”
Britney Ever After also features several emotional scenes in the film, including a scene inspired by Spears’ head shaving in 2007, as well as an incident from the same year, which saw Spears swinging an umbrella at members of the paparazzi.
“It was traumatic having to experience through my eyes what she experienced,” says Bassett. “I really appreciated how strong she is… emotionally, the way she got through the constant pressures that she was faced with is admirable. She’s not like anybody else. Her entire life, she’s been chased by paparazzi and she’s constantly being scrutinized and in the public eye, so it’s not normal.”
Following the premiere of Britney Ever After, Lifetime debuts the one-hour special, Beyond the Headlines: Britney Spears.
Eighteen years after skyrocketing to fame with hit single, Baby One More Time, Britney Spears may once again be positioned to dominate the world of pop music. It is a surprising comeback for the pop star, who nine years earlier, appeared to be a broken young woman devoured by fame and the riches that came too fast.
