HOLLYWOOD, CA (Hollywood Daily Star) 2017/4/25 – “I went through an audition process,” says Great News star Nicole Richie. “I auditioned a few times, actually. When I got it, we were shooting about a week later, and I had no idea what I was walking into. They all kind of knew each other, and I was the new kid on the block, and I met the hair and makeup people first, and they were like ‘Everyone’s really nice.’ I’m like, ‘Yeah, okay. Whatever.’ ”

“You know what,” says Richie “Everyone was so nice. They welcomed me with open arms. I’ve been a huge fan of John Michael Higgins for years and could not believe that I was going to be sharing scenes with him, and he immediately, I mean, he was nice and lovely, and I think the cool part about our characters is that there’s such a generational gap. We celebrated off screen, but it’s still very much still there.”

“We had so much fun shooting it,” says Great News star Nicole Richie. “It was the most incredible experience. We were laughing on set every single day. We were excited to come to work everyday. We were trying to hang out outside of work, and that’s a lot to say because, you know, who wants to do that after you’ve spent more than 12 hours with someone.”
