HOLLYWOOD, CA (Hollywood Daily Star) 2017/3/14 – “Nobody has done this yet,” says Trial & Error star John Lithgow  “It was brilliantly written. This seemed to me a wonderful kind of magic trick to pull off. I love challenges like that.”

“They created a character for which this trick can work,” says Lithgow  “He’s completely driven by his id.  It’s completely unedited. He has no sense of priority or proportion.  The tiniest things have absolutely as much importance to him as the crime of murder, and you see it in the very first moment of the series.”

In Trial & Error Nicholas D’Agosto is New York lawyer Josh Segal. He heads to a tiny Southern town for his first big case, to defend an eccentric poetry professor accused of the murder of his wife. With a makeshift office behind a taxidermy shop, Josh meets his quirky team of local misfits. Winning his first big case may not be easy, especially when his client is always making himself look guilty.

  • Nicholas D’Agosto as Josh Simon
  • Jayma Mays as Carol Anne Keane
