USA theatrical premiere, three oldsters to rob a bank to prevent bankruptcy, on Apr 7th, 2017

HOLLYWOOD, CA (Hollywood Daily Star) 2017/4/7 – “First our jobs go off somewhere,” says Going in Style star Morgan Freeman. “And in order to settle the debt of the company that sent our jobs off somewhere, the company closed out our pensions for their own ends. That’s criminal.”
“It’s a social situation,” says Going in Style star Michael Cane. “It’s not even fictitious. It’s real. That’s the point about the movie. It was lovely doing a comedy and to have a serious side to it. Well, not serious, touching.”
Going in Style tells the story of three working gentlemen who in a distress situation when they lose their jobs and their pensions. To get even, they decide to rob the bank that took their money.
Directed by Zach Braff. Written by Theodore Melfi. Based the screenplay on the 1979 story by Edward Cannon. A Donald De Line in collaboration with Warner Bros. Pictures.
