Warner Bros King Arthur The Legend of the Sword, star Charlie Hunnam says, “Two solid months of sword fighting”

Premiere, the legendary British leader, King Arthur, comes back in a new film, on May 12

HOLLYWOOD, CA (Hollywood Daily Star) 2017/5/12 – “In terms of the greatest challenge, all of the physicality,” says King Arthur: The Legend of the Sword star Charlie Hunnam. “The sword fighting in the film, I’d be sword fighting for 14 hours a day for six days. By the end, I probably done two solid months of sword fighting.”

 

“I think it’s going to be a physical and visual spectacle” says King Arthur: The Legend of the Sword star Jude Law. “I think it’s going to have the usual and very enjoyable signature of Guy Ritchie over… John Mathieson is a phenomenal Director of Photography and I think visually it’s going to be a total feast.”

The story centers on a young Arthur who’s not aware of his royal heritage until he gets chosen by the sword Excalibur. Driven by the tremendous power of the sword, Arthur decides to reunite the people and take the fight back to Vortigern, who is the tyrant that killed his parents and stole his right to the crown.

Warner Bros. Pictures presents, in association with Village Roadshow Pictures, a Weed Road/Safehouse Pictures Production, a Ritchie/Wigram Production, a Guy Ritchie Film, King Arthur: The Legend of the Sword. Slated for release on May 12, 2017, the film will be distributed in North America by Warner Bros. Pictures, a Warner Bros. Entertainment Company, and in select territories by Village Roadshow Pictures.
